Hydro jetting: the drain cleaning technology that works!
When a clog causes water to overflow, you should grab the plunger and get to work! If this doesn’t clear the clog, you should call Rock-O-Rooter to fix the problem right away.
Most plumbers would start by using a mechanical snake, which is a drain cleaning cable with a rotating cutting attachment on a motor that can break through the clog with centrifugal force. If successful, the snake chomps through the clog and the standing water starts moving through your drain again. What a relief!
Sometimes though, the mechanical snake can’t completely remove the obstruction and instead pokes a hole through the clog while leaving behind a partially blocked pipe that’ll eventually return to a full clog. In some greasy situations, the cable can pass right through the clog but then the thick grease congeals immediately around the cable as it’s passing through.
Enter the hydro jetter
The hydro jetter is the gold standard for clearing clogs and cleaning sewer pipes. For standard clogs, such as those caused by roots, grease, and scale build up from metal pipes, the hydro jetter eliminates 100% of the clog when in the right hands.
Hydro jetting is also ideal for preventative maintenance on sewer and grease lines for your commercial business. Staying ahead of clogs saves you money by not burdening customers with the inconvenience of plumbers working during business hours, not to mention the awful smell the drains will produce.
